Royal Mint Announces Precious Metals Recycling Facility in South Wales
The UK's oldest company with a history of over one thousand years. the Royal Mint, found in 886 AD, has announced a modern facility in South Wales which extracts gold from Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs). Up to 4,000 tonnes of PCBs (found in TVs, laptops and mobile phones) from E-waste will be processed annually. Sean Millard, Chief Growth Office of the Royal Mint, stated the factory underpinned the company's commitment to sustainable precious metals.

LaSalle Investment Management's Encore+ Aims to "set new standards" in Sustainability
Encore+ will work with Accumulata Real Estate Group to build a seven-floor hybrid timber office block, in Munich's Westend district, on a site acquired in 2019, on Elsenheimerstrasse. It will include an environmentally friendly building management system. Key players include David Ironside at Encore+ and Daniel Manta, project manager at Accumulata.

Oil Industry Focuses on Shorter Cycle Projects as Oil Prices Remain Low
The IEA has reported investment in the oil and gas sector has been falling owing to lower oil prices. Turkish economist Fatih Birol at the IEA urged policymakers to be mindful of the "long term adequacy of supply" in light of lower longer term investments in the sector. Energy efficiency investment, however, is on the rise.
